Sam Baldwin was born in Wolverhampton (UK). He graduated from Glasgow School of Art with a BA in Visual Communication in 2009, with a focus in graphic design. Selected studio experience prior to SB-PH includes: OK-RM, Sara De Bondt studio, Zak Group, Bedford Press, Hudson-Powell, Yes Studio.


Piper Haywood was born in Long Beach (California, USA). She graduated from Colby College (Maine, USA) with a BA in Fine Art in 2010. In 2011, she earned a postgraduate diploma in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins. Before SB-PH, she occupied operational roles in a number of London- and San Francisco-based technology startups.
